Stage 1 of 9
Age 6 – 18
And then—
You're old now. The room is warm. Everyone who came from every stage of this — the ones you fought for, argued with, paid for, loved anyway — is here, around the bed. Someone is holding your hand. It doesn't hurt. Your eyes are closing.
This is the part where it ends.
Game Over
You open your eyes. You're fourteen. It's a Tuesday afternoon in your bedroom, and the light through the blinds hasn't moved. The screen in front of you still says the name of the game you were just playing.
You just lived an entire life in about six minutes, and nobody downstairs knows it happened. You're about to get up and go find a snack like nothing did.
Somewhere past the version you just played, there's a real one running right now — and nobody hands you a controller for that one. That's the plan. That's the math.
